Rapid TV Everywhere - June 2016

01-Jun-2016
Welcome once again to Rapid TV Everywhere. June has arrived, a month that will see the kick off of the Euro 2016 football tournament just before the Olympic Games begin in July.
These two major sporting events will not only be a platform for elite sport, they will also be exemplars of elite broadcasting and guaranteeing quality of service, the principal theme of this issue. We’ll also be looking at what has been described as TV’s dumbest problem: failing to take money from those willing to hand it over. We hope you enjoy this and all the articles this month when for sport and multiscreen broadcasting it is truly game on.

We’ll also take a look at sports on TV everywhere services, multiscreen anime, the rise and rise of the YouTube multi-channel network and getting the quality of service you need for online video success.
