Premiering at film festivals, HBO Asia’s latest original, Invisible Stories, telling untold stories from the heartlands in a fictional neighbourhood housing estate in multi-cultural Singapore, has been given a 5 January launch date.

After drawing what the pay-TV provider called “an army of passionate fans”, Sky has contracted Hera Pictures for a second series of original drama Temple.

Research from Ampere Analysis has revealed that China is responsible for over half of the world’s brand-new drama productions, with its leading broadcasters and OTT services commissioning nearly 300 new series in the last six months alone, as many as all of its international peers combined.
