Online entertainment service iQIYI is set to premiere what it calls China’s first drama series made for vertical portrait viewing on mobile devices.

Singapore operator M1 has entered into a partnership with Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB) to offer its customers on-the-go access to the latter’s programmes via the TVB Anywhere SG mobile app.

Based on current trends and the upward trajectory of mobile video traffic, which has grown more than 50% year-on-year, Openwave Mobility’s Mobile Video Industry Council has projected that video will make up to nine-tenths of traffic on forthcoming 5G networks.
