Online video premium network Netsonic and ad server Videoplaza have signed a deal to increase video monetisation in Latin America.
London-based Videoplaza will be providing technology and management tools for all Netsonic's monetised videos in the region, in an agreement that will run for two years.
Netsonic will use the ad serving platform Karbon to try the increase profitability of videos' ads. Karbon is able to serve ads in every connected device. “Netsonic will help Videoplaza to get started in Latin America,” said Sorosh Tavakoli, Videoplaza's CEO and founder.
According to Netsonic, Karbon will offer advanced marketing tools, which are able to segment the users according to devices, networks, age, gender and location. The advertisers using Netsonic's integrated Karbon will be able to follow the evolution of their campaigns in real time and get wide reports of their impact in tablets, smartphones, smart TVs, consoles and computers.
The agreement for video monetisation has been supported by Publiespaña and the TV networks with which Netsonic works in Mexico, Peru, Colombia and the US.
“The partnership is more than a simple technological agreement, it's about growing together in an increasing market,” said Xavier Rius, Netsonic's CEO and founder.
