Big Frame, a YouTube media company and talent management firm, has selected Beachfront Media's Builder video app platform to distribute video content across devices, including connected TVs.
Beachfront Builder focuses on enabling video content distribution to multiscreen environments, allowing content owners to create, manage, deploy and monetise native apps for iPhones, iPads, Android phones and tablets, Windows 8 devices and connected TVs.
The partnership kicked off this week on the heels of the recent launch of two new multiplatform verticals from Big Frame, including urban lifestyle vertical Forefront.tv and geek girl-focused vertical Wonderly.
"Beachfront Media's app development platform has enabled us to deliver the best original and curated video content to our fans regardless of whether they choose to watch online or on the go via mobile and tablet devices," said CEO and co-founder of Big Frame, Steve Raymond.
Forefront offers original and curated music, entertainment and fashion videos from YouTube creators, personalities and publishers such as DeStorm Power, Karen Civil, Issa Rae and VIBE.
Wonderly, meanwhile, is a community "where intelligent, independent and crafty ladies worldwide connect, share creative ideas, geek out on the latest fan-girl trends and create videos to inspire and celebrate the best of nerd girl culture."
