Cartoon Network HD has become the first high-definition children's channel in Southeast Asia, after striking a deal with GlobeCast to be delivered on the MEASAT-3 satellite.

GlobeCast is providing signal delivery from Cartoon Network in Hong Kong. The channel's feed is then delivered by fibre to GlobeCast's Hong Kong teleport for uplink onto GlobeCast's multiplex on MEASAT-3 DVB-S2 platform.

On GlobeCast's capacity on MEASAT-3, Cartoon Network HD has joined channels such as History HD, Discovery HD, Food Network HD, Fashion One HD, and more.
