Offering more free streaming content channels in North America, US film and television studio and streaming network FilmRise is expanding its content offering that is available on the Samsung TV Plus platform in the US and Canada.

Samsung’s free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) and advertising video-on-demand (AVOD) service offers thousands of shows and movies on-demand across over 2,000 channels globally. In all, over 3,100 hours of FilmRise content to launch on Samsung devices and the deal includes over 600 hours of new programming including 19 TV series and over 120 films.

Some of the new properties featured in the programming expansion include all eight seasons of Cheaters, the hit reality series that investigates partners suspected of infidelity; Lorne Michaels’ digital creator comedy sketches series, Above Average, Seasons 1-6; and Women Behind Bars, Seasons 1-4, an intimate and in-depth look at the life of women incarcerated in an American jail.
Several popular Samsung TV Plus channels and titles featuring FilmRise programming include Heartland, Highway to Heaven, Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares and 21 Jump Street.
