In keeping with its current expansion of services in the DACH region, ad-supported video-on-demand (AVOD) and FAST Channel provider wedotv now also distributing its free streaming services wedo movies, wedo sports and wedo big stories on German streaming platform Joyn.


In addition, as part of a newly concluded, first-time partnership with German production and distribution company OneGate, part of Studio Hamburg Group, wedotv has also acquired an expansive movie package with over 50 German and international titles.
wedotv is a free, AVOD portal offerin movies, series, documentaries, TV shows and live sports, as well as lifestyle, comedy and automotive programming. wedo movies offers viewers national and international movies, while wedo sports features live coverage of horse races, sailing, and golf tournaments, as well as highlights from football, Formula 1, e-sports, and martial arts. The documentary channel wedo big stories, which is operated together with Big Media Holdings, one of the world’s leading studios for non-fiction productions, screens documentaries about science, nature, and technology.
The Joyn deal will see all users in Germany and Austria able to receive the advertising-supported, linear 24-hour channels free of charge. The services are available in the Joyn app for smart TVs, tablets and smartphones, as well as directly on the web at www.joyn.de and www.joyn.at.
