Looking to create new opportunities for consumer engagement, satisfaction and monetisation for the media and entertainment industry, cloud-native video platform provider Quickplay has entered into a partnership with Google Cloud to harness generative AI.

Quickplay and Google Cloud believe access to new AI capabilities can efficiently accelerate time-to-market to deliver targeted AI solutions, maximised against a client specific go-to-market strategy and create bespoke features and capabilities without the cost and cycles of custom development. They also note that implementing A/B testing to evaluate outcomes and optimise consumer engagement and monetisation.

The companies believe that an API-driven architecture speeds creation of new engagement, revenue opportunities using Google Vertex AI toolkit. Quickplay says that when combined with Google Cloud Vertex AI, using API integrations, its platform immediately enables multiple media and customer use cases, including deep metadata, content discovery, personalisation, content creation, process automation and multi-channel monetisation.
