The streamer says audiences in both regions will gain access to a mountain of entertainment for the whole family spanning new and exclusive Paramount+ originals, hit shows and blockbuster films across multiple genre from the Paramount group’s brands and production studios, including Comedy Central, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, Showtime and the Smithsonian Channel.

Paramount+ global originals that will become available include Tulsa King, with Sylvester Stallone as New York mafia capo Dwight The General Manfredi, just after he is released from prison after 25 years and unceremoniously exiled by his boss to set up shop in Tulsa, Oklahoma; 1923, the next instalment of the Yellowstone origin story Starring Academy Award nominee Harrison Ford and Academy Award winner Helen Mirren that introduces a new generation of the Dutton family; and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the USS Enterprise.

The service will also offer a robust line-up of local content in both regions. Over time, audiences will be introduced to titles including Mask: Marie Antionette Serial Killer, an 8-hour young adult fantasy horror thriller; Le Signal, a mystery based on the bestselling novel by Maxime Chattam; and Le Stade, which follows the Stade Toulousain rugby team as they face the most ambitious challenge in its history.

Audiences in Germany, Austria and Switzerland will be invited to enjoy series including Der Scheich, the eight-episode tale of a one-of-a-kind con artist by award-winning filmmaker, Dani Levy; Simon Beckett’s Chemistry Of Death, a gripping crime series based on the acclaimed best-selling novels about forensic anthropologist Dr. David Hunter; A Thin Line, an eco-cyber thriller series; Kohlrabenschwarz, based on the mystery audio-drama series of the same name; and the sixth season of the popular Nickelodeon series, Spotlight.

Upon launch in France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Paramount+ will become available online, on a wide range of connected TV devices, including via distribution through Apple, Amazon, Google, Samsung and Roku, on mobile devices and more. Paramount+ will also launch on Sky platforms in Germany and Austria as part of a new multi-year distribution agreement. Through this agreement, Sky subscribers with Sky Cinema will have access to Paramount+ content at no additional cost, and the Paramount+ standalone app will also launch on Sky Q.

In France, through a bundle deal with Canal+ Group, Canal+ will distribute Paramount+ within its offers in France and will distribute Paramount+ exclusively in its offers in French-speaking Switzerland.
