Expanding further into the realm of live events, millennial-focused 4K UHD broadcaster, content creator and format seller Insight TV is bringing the digital re-imagining of the Tomorrowland music festival to TV across all of its linear and digital networks in 48 countries around the world on 7 and 8 August.
The music festival was reimagined as a spectacular entertainment experience due to the cancellation of the live events this past Winter in France and in Belgium this summer. On 25 and July 26, Digital Festival ticket holders enjoyed a newly created Tomorrowland location via computer gaming technology that brought together acts in electronic dance music with 3D design, video production and special effects.
Insight TV is showing Tomorrowland 2020: InBeat LIVE for the first time in a newly created format called InBeat, which incorporates live concert event-style backstage commentary and interviews. The line-up for Tomorrowland 2020: InBeat LIVE includes Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens, Armin van Buuren, Charlotte de Witte, David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Katy Perry, Kölsch, Los Frequencies, Martin Garrix, Paul Kalbrenner, Steve Aoki, Tale of Us, Tiësto and Timmy Trumpet.
The show will be hosted by Scottish DJ/actress Arielle Free and Instagram star Irene Lara and feature performances from Tomorrowland Around the World, the digital festival, along with interviews with DJs and behind-the-scenes footage.
Filmed from TNW City in the heart of Amsterdam with the floating flower market and famous Muntplein as the backdrop, Free and Lara will introduce viewers to the performances via eight signature stages, including Atmosphere, Core, Freedom Stage and Elixir, plus three new stages which have been created and designed by Tomorrowland’s creative team.
