In what will see the leading independent distributor deliver more than 110 hours of factual programming, all3media international has signed a content deal with rapidly expanding streaming service Huanxi Media.

Launched by film and television studio Huanxi Media Group, OTT platform Huanxi Media delivers high-end scripted and non-scripted content to a growing subscriber base in mainland China. Content in the deal with all3media covers a range of genres such as true crime, travel, food, arts/culture, history and royalty, and will see in all 25 titles added to Huanxi Media’s new non-scripted portfolio.
The deal also features two seasons of Studio Lambert’s Race Across the World, the ambitious series that challenges teams to take on the ultimate globe-trotting adventure – a ground-level race across multiple countries with limited cash and no modern technology. Additional travel-focused titles acquired are Our Guy in Japan (North One Productions- pictured), Kevin McCloud’s Escape to the Wild (Optomen Television) and Bear’s Wild Weekend with Stephen Fry (betty tv). Two titles have been signed from all3media international’s true crime catalogue: The Innocence Network (Pernel Media) and Murder on the Internet (Spun Gold).
A collection of food-themed content led by chef Gordon Ramsay will also be available via Huanxi Media. This includes all three series of the US ratings hit Gordon Ramsay’s 24 Hours to Hell and Back (Studio Ramsay for Fox, US) alongside One Potato Two Potato’s Gordon’s Ultimate Cookery Course, Gordon’s Festive Home Cooking and Gordon Ramsay Behind Bars.
Programming also includes Raw TV’s award-winning special Drowning in Plastic and the two most recent series of BBC Studios’ Fake or Fortune feature in the deal, alongside a host of acclaimed history documentaries such as Pompeii – Life Before Death, Rome - Empire without Limit with Mary Beard and Egypt’s Lost Queens, all from Lion Television. Finalising the deal are a selection of titles from the royal catalogue: Spun Gold’s one-off special Secrets of the Royal Babies and two-parter Royal Wives of Windsor, and Lion Television’s Henry VII – The Winter King.
“We’re delighted to work with Huanxi Media for the first time as the platform continues to build its new non-scripted offering in China,” commented Kit Yow, sales manager Asia Pacific at all3media. “With such a wealth of finished content available, we’re able to deliver premium, globally relevant programming to new platforms quickly and efficiently, helping them to ensure that their brand stands out and appeals to a wide range of new viewers.”
