The channel features curated shows from Outdoor Channel shareholder Parade Media Group, drawing upon a catalogue of more than 2,300 hours of content across culinary travel, food, travel, factual entertainment, factual, science and engineering, wildlife and entertainment.

Initial key titles making up the MyLife block include Andy and Ben Eat the World; Boy’s Weekend with celebrity chef Gary Mehigan; Into the Outback with Abbey Holmes; My Sri Lanka with Peter Kuruvita; Xscape (pictured); The Ultimate Rush; Wild Live.

Commenting on gaining the new channel, Joe Wan head of programming for Outdoor Channel said: “At a time of an extraordinary rise in TV viewership, MyLife is a timely addition to viewer choice. Lifestyle programming is one of the most popular and enduring genres on TV. It’s also part of a deliberate strategy for Outdoor Channel to broaden its appeal through other genres synonymous with outdoor lifestyles such as food, travel and adventure.”

Parade Media CEO Matt Ashcroft added: “We are beyond excited to be collaborating with Gregg and Joe and the entire Outdoor Channel team on the MyLife block. Audiences everywhere are looking for daily escapism and never before has feel good programming been more relevant.”
