Having initially implemented the solution in 2018 to virtualise traditional hardware-based technology, Korea’s largest cable operator CJ Hello media industry has now successfully deployed ATEME’s TITAN Live software solution for MPEG-2 HD transcoding for delivery of video services to its viewers.

CJHello ATEME 5Dec2019The broadcast, cable, DTH, IPTV and OTT video delivery solutions provider says that with its server-agnostic software CJ Hello can deliver a premium experience to customers while reducing OPEX and reducing bandwidth load while adding additional HD channels to its existing transponder.

Summing its reaction to the new deal, ATEME said that by being chosen again by CJ Hello proved it had understood the broadcaster's priorities and the need to provide content of the best quality to its current and future audiences in millions of homes across Korea.
