Taking advantage of alternative providers’ plans to roll full fibre broadband across the countries, has racked up its twelfth carriage agreement with 12 U and Ireland Ultrafast Fibre providers in six months.

Netgem offers live, on-demand, paid-for and Freeview content through one interface. Its library incorporates over 100 live TV channels including the BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and Channel 5 as well as a complete Freeview Play catch-up including 20,000+ hours of content and also features Amazon Prime Video, Rakuten, YouTube, Hayu as well as a growing number of new TV channels and other on-demand services added every month through a personalised recommendation bundle.

The fibre distribution partners across the UK and Ireland, where offers the saorview package, now includes WightFibre, Pure Broadband, Air Broadband, Pure Telecom, Gigaclear, Lilaconnect, VX Fibre, Cambridge Fibre, Pure Fibre, Voneus, Jersey Telecom and Origin Broadband.

The announcement of the distribution acceleration comes only weeks after the addition of Premier Sports channels to the inclusive premium content line up.

Commenting on the addition of the partners, managing director Sylvain Thevenot said that the company was bringing a new era of connectivity and value to all. “More video clips and TV shows are being watched via Internet streaming but the experience is increasingly disjointed. Viewers are looking for choice but also simplicity in their everyday TV and streaming experience. They also expect good value from their fibre provider and entertainment service.”
