Cloud storage company Wasabi Technologies has announced a partnership with G-Core Labs whereby its customers can take advantage of G-Core Labs global content delivery network (CDN).

It is built on a what it describes as a ‘revolutionary’ file system and architecture, with multiple data centres across the US and in Europe. It offers a single tier of high performance storage with no charges for data egress or API requests.

G-Core Labs — which through the deal expands the geography of its cloud storage in Europe, North America and Asia — says that the integrated solution particularly benefits customers with applications that require large file sizes to be transported and stored with high performance. typical use cases include media storage, gaming, e-commerce and online services. It adds that the partnership will significantly reduce costs for customers, while increasing their speed of operations and making it easier for them to scale internationally.

G-Core Labs adds that it will also provide fault-tolerant data warehousing and content delivery network functionality with Wasabi's 11x9s data durability and G-Core Labs CDN average response time of less than 30 milliseconds.
