The service provision coincides with the new electronic programme guide that Cablenet will be launching in late 2019 that the operator says will provide the platform’s viewers with a brand new EPG experience. Global Listings will be delivering EPG metadata for all international and local channels broadcasting on the platform in English and Greek, in addition to images for every programme integrated into Cablenet’s new system.

“I am delighted that we are working in partnership with one of the biggest and fastest-growing telecommunications networks in Cyprus,” said Global Listings CEO Thalia Droussioti (pictured). “Cablenet has chosen Global Listings after extensive market research and we are delighted that it has identified us as the best partner – in terms of technology, service delivery and price – for its new EPG platform.”

Cablenet TV and content manager Antonis Kyprianou added: “We are proud to announce today, our partnership with Global Listings, the international expert in delivering EPG data. This partnership comes as a result of the upcoming upgrade of our existing broadcast programming services which we offer to the end-user. This new generation TV platform will feature continuously updated information and quality EPG services, allowing the end user an enhanced TV experience. At Cablenet, we are looking forward to the launch of this new EPG platform.”
