Continuing its momentum in expanding its business out of its Indian base, ZEE5 Global has kickstarted its partnership with leading Middle East retailer LuLu by powering its bi-annual Indian-themed festival Celebrating India.

Coinciding with the recent Indian Independence Day, the campaign will roll out across its stores in the UAE in a week-long festival ending 20 August 2019 which will highlight food, offers, cultural shows and celebrity visits.

Powered by ZEE5, LuLu will give customers a chance to join and win a free subscription of the on-demand service for every AED 50 purchase. LuLu customers will also have access to the latest film releases exclusively on ZEE5, and a chance to meet with their favourite stars.

Commenting on the partnership, Archana Anand, chief business officer of ZEE5 Global said: “With a huge demand for Bollywood and Indian content from not only the South Asian diaspora but also mainstream audiences, and a highly conducive digital and payment ecosystem, the Middle East is an extremely exciting market for us.
