The UK’s subscription-free satellite platform, Freesat, has added Retro Movies to its portfolio of film channels on offer.

RetroMovies Freesat 5Aug2019The service eprovide says that viewers will now have access to the best classic movies with a generous helping of drama, comedy, action and loads of romance.

“We know that our customers love settling down in front of a great film and Retro Movies provides a huge range of storytelling for every taste, said Freesat managing director Alistair Thom. “We’re delighted to welcome them to our ever-growing range of movie and entertainment channels.”

In a joint statement, Retro Movies directors Dipo Winsala and Alfred Soroh added: “Retro Movies is pleased and excited to be launching on Freesat and look forward to a long and fruitful partnership. Since our launch, Retro Movies has built a loyal audience who share our passion for great movies of the past. We hope Freesat viewers will also enjoy the comedies, westerns and war films on offer, as well as popular TV series.”
