French-speaking Belgium’s leading public TV station Radio Télévision Belge (RTBF) has inked a deal with producer and distributor Prime Entertainment Group for its award-winning documentary Mediterranean Sea.

Prime RTBF 13July2019The 1x52’ documentary takes audiences on a voyage down the Mediterranean and takes audiences on a journey where they can discover aquatic natural treasures that the producers say need to be preserved.Images have been shot in 4K.

It has won multiple prizes such as the award for Best Marine Film in the Seafest of Saint Petersburg in Russia, the Bronze Award at the European Festival of the Under-Water and Environment Film of Strasbourg and a Galathea Bronze Award at the International Festival of the Sea World at Hyeres. 

“RTBF is a great partner. We have been working together for the last the years especially for our high-quality documentaries like this one on the Mediterranean Sea,” said Alexandra Marguerite, head of sales of Prime Entertainment Group. “It is a show that we like very much and we are very proud to see the it has great success on the channel. This year we have already closed four deals together with RTBF and we expect more to come.”
