Keeping up its pace of business activity over the summer, DAZN has netted more football rights this time in the form of exclusive broadcast rights for South America’s most prestigious club and international football tournaments.

In a four-year deal cover the upcoming seasons from 2019-2022, the live and on-demand sports streaming service has the rights to show in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Spain CONMEBOL Libertadores, CONMEBOL Sudamericana and CONMEBOL Recopa in five markets; Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Spain.

From 23 July, DAZN will stream the knockout phase of South America’s most prestigious club football tournament, CONMEBOL Libertadores. The streaming service will also begin broadcasting the round of 16 matches of the CONMEBOL Sudamericana, which begins 10 July. It will stream the CONMEBOL Recopa competition, beginning in 2020, which will see the next CONMEBOL Libertadores champion take on the winner of this year’s CONMEBOL Sudamericana tournament.

DAZN already secured a one-year deal to stream South America’s international tournament, the CONMEBOL Copa América 2019 which is about to come to its conclusion. It also has rights in select countries for the Premier League, Champion’s League, FA Cup, La Liga, Serie A, Ligue 1, Coppa Italia, Copa del Rey, MLS and J1-League.
