Jungo says that it is recognised for its technical and digital distribution capabilities for major media networks across the OTT universe, connecting and integrating some of the biggest content providers with some of the biggest platforms in the world with expansion into up-and-coming markets.

The deal with GMA includes Front Row Channel, Jungo’s live concert channel, and Hallypop, Jungo’s global network connecting fans of Asian pop culture through K-Pop, lifestyle which is currently available on Samsung’s TV Plus service in the US. Hallypop programming includes Inkigayo, Running Man, Call to Cosplay and After School Club. It also features top K-Pop groups like BTS, Big Bang, Red Velvet, Twice, and more.

“We’re very excited about this relationship because we put together some curated channels that are going to be absolutely phenomenal for the Philippine market, which includes our music channel and our K-Pop, Asian pop culture network,” commented Jungo TV CEO and co-founder George Chung.

“We are grateful to Jungo TV and Mr. Chung for entrusting us to be the first here in the Philippines to distribute that content. That’s a lot of trust,” added GMA Network Chairman and CEO Felipe L. Gozon.
