Amazon has launched its Prime service in the UAE, following the launch of at the beginning of May.

In addition, members can enjoy video game benefits with Twitch, free delivery on millions of local and international items, and Prime member deals.

"We are working hard every day to expand our product range, give customers even greater value, and continually improve the shopping experience here in the UAE. With the addition of Prime, customers can now enjoy the most convenient way to shop, access unlimited and award-winning entertainment, and shop exclusive deals on Prime Day.”

This expands UAE access to Amazon Prime Video service, which since January had been carried by telco du.

Amazon originals such as The Grand Tour and All or Nothing: Manchester City, can be streamed through the subscription-based service, in addition to several Indian hit shows like Mirzapur and Breathe. A host of international programming is also available on demand.

Prime members can watch anytime, anywhere via the Prime Video app on Android and iOS phones and tablets, select smart TVs, game consoles, Fire TV stick, Apple TV 3 or 4.

Amazon is offering a 30-day free trial. After that time, customers can join Prime for Dh16 per month, or alternatively they can pay Dh140 for an annual payment. An introductory monthly price of DH12 is also available in the UAE until 31 October 2019.
