Cricket’s governing body the International Cricket Council (ICC) has enlisted London’s Little Dot Studios to manage its official YouTube channel throughout the Cricket World Cup.

ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 logo 7 May 2019Little Dot Studios will optimise match highlights throughout the tournament, which sees nine national cricket teams battle it out, competing in one day internationals until the finale on 14 July.

“The ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup is the pinnacle 50-over event in the international cricket calendar. Our digital video coverage for the 2019 event in England and Wales is reflective of that and we are excited to work with Little Dot Studios to help us manage the official ICC YouTube channel as we aim to bring cricket’s one billion fans closer to the event than ever before,” said Barry McAdams, digital product manager of the UAE-based ICC.

Little Dot Studios senior partnerships manager, sport Rory Rigney said: “We know how much demand there is for premium cricket content on YouTube, having helped other cricket bodies deliver such great success stories, and there is nothing bigger in cricket than the ICC Cricket World Cup.
