Global producer and distributor Fremantle is teaming with newly formed production company Passenger in an exclusive arrangement to develop and produce scripted drama series.

RichardBrown Fremantle 5June2019Based in New York and London, Passenger is the brainchild of award-winning producer Richard Brown, the executive producer on all three seasons of the critically acclaimed, multiple award-winning HBO anthology series True Detective. Brown also developed and executive produced Hulu/Sky Italia/Channel 4 limited series Catch-22, starring George Clooney, Kyle Chandler, Christopher Abbott and Hugh Laurie and produced the Netflix action drama Outlaw King.

Under the terms of the new partnership, Passenger will develop and produce scripted drama series with Fremantle co-producing and distributing the projects worldwide. Passenger will primarily focus on original limited event series’ and anthologies, which in recent years have proven to have wide global appeal. The company will also produce multi-season dramas, documentary series and feature films.
