Sky Deutschland’s customers can look forward to Insight TV’s line up of adventure-driven shows that tell stories through global influencers via both linear and non-linear platforms. The linear channel — which previously only HD+ customers could receive — will now also be available for subscribers of the Sky Entertainment package via satellite distribution. In addition, all Sky customers regardless of the mode of reception will have direct access to a selection of Insight TV content on-demand via Sky Q and Sky Go. Upcoming Insight TV programme highlights include Modern Explorers, Morbidelli Rising, Endurance: 24 Hours at Spa and Travel with a Goat.

Commenting on the deal, Manuel Kindervater, vice president partner channels at Sky Deutschland said: “We are delighted to offer Insight TV to all Sky subscribers. The channel delivers adrenaline-rich content that brings social influencers to the big screen, providing especially the younger demographic with relatable content taking them on a global journey of discovery – no matter where they are or when they would like to watch.”

“This is another exciting launch for Insight TV,” added Insight TV commercial director Graeme Stanley. “Sky Deutschland is a key player in the German and Austrian television markets and we’re looking forward to providing viewers with unique content that they cannot access on any other channel or on demand. We strive to produce high-quality, impactful television and to make long lasting connections. This latest announcement allows us to build upon our promise of providing Insight TV to as many viewers in Europe and across the world as we can.”
