As the channel celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, AMC Networks International has renewed a distribution agreement for Minimax with Telekom Romania.

The TV provider’s basic channel package now features the popular kids’ network, reaching nearly 85% of pay-TV subscribers in Romania.
“This agreement builds on our long-term partnership with Telekom Romania by making our popular kids’ network Minimax available widely throughout the region,” said Balázs Hajós, VP of affiliate sales for AMCNI in the region. “As AMCNI continues to expand our portfolio of diverse channels, we’re committed to offering premium content to attract and entertain audiences of all ages around the world.”
Andreas Elsner, chief commercial officer for the Residential Segment at Telekom Romania added: “We are happy to announce that Minimax channel is now part of our TV grid, thus delivering on our promise to provide quality TV content and meet the consumer’s different needs and preferences. This gives us the opportunity, on Children's Day, to offer children the Minimax experience, by exploring new worlds together with their favourite characters.”
