Cellcom Israel claims to be the country’s largest cellular provider with over 2.8 million subscribers as of the end last year. Operating an LTE4 generation network and an HSPA 3.5 generation network, it provides high speed broadband multimedia services as well as voice services.

Netflix, which is already available in Israel on Partner TV, will now be integrated with the Cellcom tv platform. Since July 2017, the US subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service has provided a localised service for Israel in Hebrew. Netflix also supports local currency billing and streams Israeli TV series such as Fauda, Hostages (Bnei Aruba) and Devout Love (Srugim) in addition to its original programming.

Direct-to-home satellite operator Yes is now the only pay-TV platform in Israel which does not offer Netflix as an integrated service.
