PCCW Media has acquired the Hong Kong rights for the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship to broadcast on its Now TV, Now E and ViuTV platforms.

uefa euro 2020 logo 8 May 2019UEFA Euro 2020 marks the 60th anniversary of the tournament, which will see 24 national teams compete in 12 cities across 12 European countries from 12 June to 12 July 2020.

In Hong Kong, PCCW’s IPTV platform Now TV and streaming service Now E will exclusively broadcast all matches live, with many expected to be played in Asia’s prime time evening viewing hours. Free-to-air channel ViuTV will broadcast selected matches live from the championships.

Whether viewers are enjoying the matches on a live or on-demand basis, and whether they view them on TV, Internet or mobile platforms, we will strive to make this mega event a most remarkable football viewing experience.”

The 2020 tournament is another key footballing property for Now TV’s portfolio, which already includes Premier League (available in 4K), UEFA Champions League, LaLiga, Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, UEFA Europa, Major League Soccer, Superliga Argentina, Turkish Süper Lig and AFC.
