Australian pay-TV operator Foxtel has launched an Android TV app to stream its content on Sony Bravia Android TVs in the country.

FOXTEL NOW LOGO 4 April 2019The Foxtel Now Android TV app is being made available in time for the 15 April premiere of the final series of HBO’s Game of Thrones, for which Foxtel holds the rights in Australia.

Foxtel Now subscribers can also catch up on all of the drama of the first seven seasons, which are available to stream on demand, and now via Sony Android TVs.

The service, which can be cancelled at any time, offers flexible bundles starting from A$25 per month. As well as streaming in HD, live and on demand , Foxtel Now features personalised recommendations based on subscribers’ viewing; personalised WatchLists that synchronise across Foxtel Now devices; a dedicated kids section; and the ability to stream simultaneously and continue watching on two devices.

Foxtel Now is already supported on PlayStation 4, Telstra TV, PC and Mac, select smartphones and tablets, Chromecast and via AirPlay, as well as on the Foxtel Now box.
