Content aggregation and distribution company Alchimie has extended its current partnership with French media and entertainment conglomerate, Mediawan, to include a replay/catch-up service.

W app icon 3April2019The functionality is planned nine themed Mediawan linear channels to subscribers on Alchimie’s Watch It over-the top platform. The catch-up service allows content on AB3, ABXPLORE, RTL9, ACTION, CRIME DISTRICT to be viewed outside of scheduled linear viewing of Mediawan channels. The partnership also delivers a revenue share to rights holders from all Mediawan content viewed through the Watch It OTT platform which is automatically generated and distributed via Alchimie technology.
