Aiming to appeal to GenZ and millennial audiences next generation adventure network ROAM has introduced ROAM TV, a video channel with original adventure programming.

Roam chin 25March2019Part of the company’s newly designed website, ROAM TV will feature stories of human endurance at disparate destinations and will attempt to show innovation in exploration, athletic prowess and cultural curiosity.

The videos pieces in the ROAM TV vary in length and include serial episodes from three to five minutes in length and will eventually include feature length films. Most videos will be ad supported by pre-rolls, interstitials and video-player skin takeovers, among other units. Others will be available on a PPV and SVOD basis.

Contributors include 2019 Academy Award-winner Jimmy Chin (pictured), Travis Rice, Andy Best, Chris Burkard, Renan Ozturk, Mike Horn, Keith Ladzinki, Sasha DiGiulian, Andy Mann, Ian Walsh, and Jeremy Jones. ROAM will also use a social-first strategy that will use the social presences of its founders and influencers to scale the size of its audiences to well over two million viewers.

“ROAM’s mobile-first content appeals to the millions of young people who identify with adventure,” commented ROAM CEO Christopher Jerard. “ In just over a year, the site has amassed a following of more than two million who have consumed more than 120,000 hours of video in over 100 million views. Moreover, many of ROAM’s videos have racked up millions of views on Facebook and Instagram. Our GenZ and millennial audience rallies around adventure with purpose giving potential advertisers a highly sustainable marketplace for goods and services sought by this otherwise hard-to-reach audience.”
