Ad agency MediaCom has announced a series of staff changes, including appointing Tom Curtis, previously head of MediaCom Beyond Advertising (MBA), to the newly-created role of executive creative director.

mediacom 12 march 2019Dan Wood and Paul Tremain meanwhile will jointly take over the leadership of MBA, which is the agency’s in-house specialist content marketing division.

Wood’s role will be integral to growing partnerships, media-owner relationships and commerciality at MediaCom. Tremain will continue to drive the branded content and production side of the business, and will also take up a position on MediaCom‘s managing partners board.

To support the renewed focus on creative work, Lindsey Jordan will take on the position as head of Media Creativity. Her role will focus on redeveloping MediaCom’s creative product set, in-house creative training and the process through which MediaCom nurtures creative ideas.

The moves follow a successful 2018 for the company, during which MediaCom winning Media Agency of the Year at the Media Week Awards; as well as the Grand Prix for most-awarded agency and Media Campaign of the Year at the Campaign Media Awards in 2018.
