OTT and IPTV software solutions provider Anevia has embarked upon a partnership with file and live content delivery firm Quadrille to offer OTT over satellite.

The new joint solution is designed to enable content providers and operators to offer cost-effective live-TV services, without sacrificing stream quality, in situations where it was previously unavailable due to limited bandwidth. Intended use cases include vide delivery to high-speed trains, inflight entertainment, off-shore sites and university campuses.
This complete OTT-over-satellite solution includes Anevia’s GENOVA smart transcoder and NEA-LIVE packager to prepare live channels. The OTT stream is delivered via satellite using Quadrille’s QuadriLive. On the receiving side, Anevia’s Flamingo embeds Quadrille’s software to re-transform the signal and enable a multiscreen viewing experience on any smart device. This say the companies offers a highly scalable multiscreen TV solution which provides ultra-low latency and high-quality video services, anywhere and at any time.
“Consumers increasingly want to watch TV anywhere, at any time, all with a high-quality viewing experience,” commented Ivonne Prugnaud, vice president sales worldwide enterprise, Anevia. “From live streaming to video on demand, the growing partnership between Quadrille and Anevia will help service providers deliver a unique experience across any network.
“Quadrille is a leader in delivering content over the air, so our DNA has always been broadcast,” added Quadrille CEO Xavier Battas. “Working alongside Anevia is an excellent opportunity to expand our OTT offerings to help content providers keep up with consumer expectations and their viewing habits.”
