China’s BesTV is launching a BBC Earth branded space on its internet protocol television (IPTV) platform.

BBCDynastiesTencent 16Oct2018 Chinese Poster 16 Oct 2018From 1 April, BesTV subscribers in 31 cities across China will be able to access BBC Earth wildlife programmes such as Dynasties, Big Cats, and Animals with Cameras.

The Shanghai Media Group subsidiary has already partnered with BBC Studios to offer a branded block of CBeebies children’s content, following the successful reception of its programmes Hey Duggee and Sarah & Duck.

BesTV also carries motoring show Top Gear, now in its 26th series.
