Independent global family content distributor Jetpack Distribution has acquired international distribution rights for animated TV series Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty, created and produced by California-based toy and entertainment company, Funrise.

The series comprises 52 X 11-minute episodes, including one half hour holiday TV special. It uses photo real textures, hand-drawn elements and a bright colour palette to convey a fantastical world.
Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty launched on Nickelodeon in the US last month, with the series rolling on Nickelodeon’s international channels and branded blocks across over 170 countries and territories later this year.
Jetpack’s distribution rights include Canada, Latin America, Europe (excluding Italy & Russia), Australasia, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. “We are delighted to be bringing the colourful Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty to Kidscreen,” remarked CEO Dominic Gardiner.
“It’s a mash-up world where endless adventures and exploration await. This show boldly combines the greatest loves of our kids’ lives right now! Plus, it teaches them to believe in themselves and embrace their individuality.”
