The children-focussed breakout of hit global singing format The Voice has been renewed for two more seasons by broadcaster Caracol in Colombia.

Boasting 38 local versions across the globe, The Voice Kids features the same blind auditions and battles as the global hit format. It sees a nation’s best young vocalists try to impress three of the country’s top recording artists in hopes of becoming the ultimate winner.

Producer Talpa says that the secret to The Voice Kids is that it is a pure talent show that is all about positivity. The format is aired as a daily show in Colombia, with 55 episodes per season and the fourth season will air this spring with a fifth and sixth season already secured for the upcoming years. The local version of the show will be produced in-house by Caracol.
