UAE telco du is teaming up with Amazon Prime Video to offer all customers access to the US streaming service for free for the first three months.

Prime Video ROW Logo White Blue png 1518610306 copyAll du customers can now access Amazon’s content on demand, including TV series, movies and an increasing library of acquired Indian movies and originals, following a deal first announced last year .

Following the three month promotional period, access to Amazon Prime Video on du will be priced at AED11 per month for the next six months and AED22 each month thereafter.

“Our discerning customers prefer a wide variety of content and we are delighted to be the first telco in the UAE to launch a special offer on Prime Video. du customers will now be able to enjoy unlimited, uninterrupted streaming of award-winning Prime Original series and popular movies and TV shows,” said Fahad AlHassawi, deputy CEO, du telco services, EITC.
Tim Leslie, vice president, Amazon Prime Video International said: “We want Prime Video customers to have the flexibility of watching all their favourite TV shows, where and when they want.

“With the addition of Prime Video on du, we’re delighted that even more customers can watch their favourite Prime Originals and popular TV shows and movies, both in the home or on the move.”

Prime Originals on the service include Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May’s motoring show The Grand Tour; gangster thriller set in India, Mirzapur; Julia Roberts’ TV debut in the Homecoming; and the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning series, The Marvelous Mrs Maisel.
