In an act that it says will accelerate innovation, particularly in the OTT space, video experience provider Accedo has generated $17 million in equity to further drive growth over the coming years.

Accedo 20Mar2018The round was led by Stockholm-based SEB Private Equity which is already a substantial investor in Accedo. In addition to rolling out multiple new products for the core video experience market, Accedo has over recent years continued to innovate and entered into new business areas, including virtual reality, augmented reality and voice interaction, as well as data-driven analysis of video experiences.

We see rapid innovation happening and existing business models and technologies are being challenged,” said Accedo CEO Michael Lantz. “As an innovator in the market, we have great opportunities to set and drive the agenda during a dynamic transformation.
