After a short but worrying period when its Optimum and Suddenlink customers found screens going blank, Altice USA has now gained continued access to content from FOX Networks group.

fox tv 26 April 2018After a lengthy period of negotiation, the two companies have signed a new retrans deal which includes networks FS1, FS2, National Geographic Channel and FX. The contracts negotiations did not include Fox News nor regional sports coverage.

An Altice spokesperson told Rapid TV News: “Altice USA is focused on providing the highest quality entertainment experience at a great value, and we are pleased to reach a deal with Fox that ensures our Optimum and Suddenlink customers will continue to receive their programming. We thank our customers for their support while we worked on their behalf to reach a fair agreement.”

“We are pleased to extend our relationship with Altice. We look forward to continuing to provide Optimum and Suddenlink customers with the FOX content they love,” added a FOX spokesperson. “Thanks to our loyal viewers for their support.”
