Video service quality and customer experience specialist Agama Technologies has revealed that it will be using IBC 2018 to launch what it claims will be a ‘ground-breaking’ solution for analytics and visualisation aimed at OTT video service providers.

The new Agama360 Analytics is said to make it easier than ever before for service providers to find the root cause of a problem in complex delivery chains, reducing time and effort spent by using real-time data cube technology to track, analyse and visualise integrated data sets.

The new solution has at its core the scalable Agama end-to-end video monitoring, assurance and analytics platform. Able to take fine-grained and high-quality service performance data from active and passive probes, as well as real-time subscriber telemetry, the Agama platform provides a complete view of service performance and customer experience end-to-end. This the company claims provides superior results compared to fragmented and siloed analytics solutions based on limited metrics.

Within the solution, stream flow is correlated and visualised across head-ends, CDNs, ISPs and subscriber devices, pinpointing where in the chain issues are occurring. This is intended to result in improved operational excellence and efficiency.
