The linear TV channel will provide viewers with hit movies, cult favourites and award winners from the extensive Paramount Pictures library.

“The introduction of Paramount Channel in Maldives marks our entry into Maldives, and also expands the footprint of one of the fastest-growing brands in VIMN’s international portfolio. With a well-curated and engaging movie viewing experience, we look forward to offering a distinctive programming line-up with great content that audiences will love in the Maldives,” said Paras Sharma, senior vice president and general manager, Southeast Asia, Viacom International Media Networks.

The channel joins over 80 premium channels on Dhiraagu TV, including international entertainment and sports content from Sony, along with Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, Colors and Nick HD from the Viacom18 stable.
