Paramount Network’s Yellowstone drama series has averaged five million total viewers in the US each week, according to Nielsen.


In live + seven days of delayed viewing measurements, Yellowstone is the second most-watched series on cable television, behind only AMC’s Walking Dead.
The show has averaged a 1.42 among the coveted advertiser demographic of adults 18 to 49 for Paramount Networ k, and on digital platforms, it’s seeing nearly 10 million streams on Viacom owned-and-operated platforms, as well as 6.8 million video-on-demand transactions.
The Kevin Costner-led drama will return for a ten-episode second season set to air in 2019. Costner plays John Dutton, a rancher who controls the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Wes Bentley, Cole Hauser, Kelsey Asbille, Brecken Merrill, Jefferson White, Danny Huston and Gil Birmingham also star.
Taylor Sheridan, who received a best original screenplay nomination at the Oscars for Hell or High Water, will return as Yellowstone writer and showrunner.
