Sports-first live streaming TV service fuboTV has announced extra platforms to support its 4K HDR10 Beta offer which is broadcasting World Cup football matches from Russia 2018.

The new devices include AppleTV 4K; ChromecastUltra; FireTV 4K; FireTV Cube; Roku Premier, Premier+ and Ultra; Android Mobile Phones with HDR10 displays; Huawei Mate 10 Pro and P20; LG V30; Razer Phone; Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy Tab S3, Galaxy S9/S9, Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ2.

The high dynamic range Ultra HD service kicked off on FOX and FS1 on Chromecast and Fire TV devices on 3 July. “Launching 4K HDR is a testament to our dedication and relentless pursuit to developing for consumers the world's premier live video streaming service for live sports and entertainment,” commented fuboTV David Gandler, co-founder and CEO, at the time.

At the same time, fuboTV welcome appointed Geir Magnusson to its management team as chief technology officer.
