Ivory Coast producer Alshana TV has inked a series of content deals with LA/Paris-based producer/distributor Prime Entertainment Group for a package of celebrity-based programmes.

Prime ashamka 8July2018Alshana TV was founded in 2002 and is led by Sonia Resseguier. At the beginning of the 2017 the company launched two new TV channels — Savanah TV and Passion TV — specialising in pure African related shows as well as female oriented content. The bundle with Prime included the 20 x 26’ series Celebrity Style Story and 1 x 90’ documentary Being a Beautiful Woman which will be aired on Passion TV.

Commenting on the deal, Prime Entertainment Group managing director David Freydt said: “The African audio-visual market is really booming right now, and we couldn’t be prouder to be reinforcing our presence in the territory providing our clients of the Pan-African feed with the best content in the market. This is our third deal with Alshana, they are great clients and it's a big satisfaction that they keep finding the programs they need among our diverse catalogue.”
