Dutch national broadcaster NPO has selected video delivery solutions provider Ateme’s TITAN virtual video processing solution to enable its coverage of live World Cup football in 4K/Ultra HD.

Ateme 13June2018NPO’s workflow can now process both live Ultra HD content at the lower bitrate and Ateme believes that TITAN’s bandwidth efficiency, high video quality and low latency, the universality input/output coverage and processing techniques will give the broadcaster a number of benefits.

These include lower OPEX with optimised workflow; simplified integration thanks to hardware abstraction; a flexible and agile architecture; increased viewers satisfaction with superior quality of service.
