Spanish telco Telefónica has premiered Largo Tiempo in Peru, a feature film that focuses on how the national team qualified to Russia 2018 after 36 years without participating at the World Cup finals.

largo tiempo telefonica 14 june 2018The film, co-produced by Telefónica’s Media Networks and Kamikaze is airing through the pay-TV network Movistar Deportes and is also available on demand for mobile and connected devices through Movistar Play.

Written and directed by Gonzalo Benavente, Largo Tiempo analyses the strategy of Peru’s football federation (FPF) and the coaches’ team that made possible the qualification.

“With this film we are showing our unconditional commitment to the national football team while delivering more exclusive content to our clients,” said Luis Eduardo Garvan, brand and communications manager, Movistar.
