South Korea’s SK Broadband will offer ChuChu TV content to its IPTV subscribers, following a tie-up with the YouTube kids channel.

ChuChu TV South Korea 13 June 2018Through the partnership, Chu Chu TV will extend its reach in South Korea, having already attracted 14 million online subscribers across Asia. SK Broadband will add English subtitles to customise the content for a local audience, and to enhance it as an English learning tool for South Korean children.

Established in 2013, ChuChu TV offers educational videos starring characters ChuChu, ChaCha, Chika and Chiku and their animal friends. Its channels include ChuChu TV Nursery rhymes and songs, ChuChu TV surprise, ChuChu TV Funzone and ChuChu TV Storytime.

The content comprises original nursery rhymes, learning songs and stories with positive and motivational messaging. ChuChu TV’s Johny Johny Yes Papa video has passed 1.48 billion views and overall, the channel now boasts 17.7 million subscribers worldwide.
