Novelas Nova will be launched with a catalogue of 32 telenovelas, 21 of which belong to Televisa, and over 5,000 hours of drama content. It will form part of Atresmedia’s Atresplayer streaming service and will deliver access to a part of Televisa’s portfolio of Mexican soap operas, many of which will be shown in Spain for the first time.

Televisa’s video-on-demand (VOD) catalogue includes eight shows that haven’t been broadcast in Spain before, namely La Candidata, La doble vida de Estela Carrillo, Simplemente María, La Malquerida, Corazón Salvaje, Cachito de Cielo, Juro que te amo, and Hoy Voy a Cambiar.
It also includes other hit series like Rubí, Alborada, Destilando Amor, La fuerza del destino, Triunfo del amor or Las tontas no van al cielo.

The soap opera selection will work as an independent subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) service, with a month of free trial. The subscription will enable users to watch content on three simultaneous devices in HD quality.
