Telecom Argentina’s mobile and pay-TV brands have announced that all 64 World Cup games will be streamed on the company’s Flow service at no data cost to customers.

flow mobile 02 june 2018In a country with a huge passion for football, and where thanks to the schedule most games will happen during the working day, the convergent player will support on-the-go watching enabling users to keep up with all the football action from their mobile devices. Data will be unlimited in order to watch the Russia 2018 games between 14 June and 15 July.

“The World Cup is a sports and entertainment event of great interest for a worldwide audience. Delivering mobile access to our Flow and Personal customers in Argentina is key for the deployment of differentiating services which is resulting of the merge of our brands,” pointed out Martín Heine, marketing director, Telecom.

In addition to the live games, Flow will enable fans to start over and re-watch the matches, and record highlights in the cloud. Exclusively for clients owning its set-top box, the operator will deliver interactive, real-time statistics during the games.

During last edition of NexTV LATAM in Argentina, Telecom said to be satisfied with Flow’s growth and to be considering to make it available standalone on an over-the-top basis.
